Well long haul to Scotland to end August.Where has the summer gone its soooooooooo cold.
We had a great show, James won CC BOB and group 4, keep it up James. Inca won puppy bitch, and Nina Tantrums and Tiaras won limit and received the res bitch CC really pleased with Nina as she is maturing nicely. Long drive home but it didn’t seem so bad.

Another rainy Builth Wells the weather spoils everything. mind we had good company to enjoy some super evenings.
Show day and the rain has finally stopped. James won the champion stakes on gundog day in good company.
The whole meaning of nastyness was taken to a new height when a couple of my friends were devastated when they went to go home and two of thier tyres were slashed !!!! what is the matter with people are they that jealous that they would put people’s safety at risk. I once thought we did this hobby becouse we loved dogs and celebrated thier excellence, whatever the breed.
It seems to me that the jelousy and spite has taken things to a whole new level, I am appauled.

What a fabulous week in the new forest my favotite place in England. Where else do animals roam free, and you have hundreds of acres of land to walk your dogs. Just down the road at lyndhurst you are by the sea, fabulous !!!
To the importnt part the show. WOW I did it again BEST IN SHOW !!! this time with James (Trimere Thriller)what a star and still not yet 3 years old. I cant believe I have won this prestigious award again within a year. When you have such great wins you really appriciate how many, many friends that wish you well sadly this highlights the few that don’t.
A best in show at a general Ch Sh is a great win for any breed and should be seen as that by the people who suposedly love the breed.
Well I will end this as a very proud owner of a very special dog.

back to stunning Malvern for the second time this year. The judge today was Linda lillie,James won the CC BOB and group 3 go James. Roxy was runner up in the champ stakes yet again !!! it was a very long day and I was glad to get home.

Long drive to Paington to kick of August. Cant believe we are already in the 8th month. Best of Breed with James and shortlisted in the group. Roxie was best bitch, and she won the Champion stakes, Sarah had to return today to compete for the champ stakes final, yet again she was runner up. never mind always another show.

Lovely Leeds and what a super setting in the grounds of Harewood House. I wonder how many people saw the fantastic Red Kites flying around the showground, they were fabulous, so regal. i was on my own here and to be honest, struggled with the workload of showing 4 dogs, come back Sarah all is forgiven. james won the dog CC BOB and gundog group 3, Roxie was 2nd in a very good Champion stakes class. When the show closed I went on to Frans for a bar-b-que and a get together this was good, food was excellent, Well done Fran and neil.

Took the caravan to Peterborough for the weekend, again the weather was good. We had a great social time with friends, (awe my head). The dog walking is normally good but this year it was held in conjunction with Flyball and Agility.
What a nightmare!!!! You could not let the dogs have a decent run off the lead as the whole showground was overtaken with Border collies, there were thousands of them and I mean thousands. I gave up in the end. Why when you try to find a little space to let your dogs blow off some steam do peaple insist on walking towards you when they can see you are retreating, then they have a go because your dogs are off the lead!!! ( dont they get thats why you tried to find the space in the first place). I came home feeling the dogs had missed out. We had a sucsessful show day with James getting the res CC and Nina winning the Post grad stakes.

Very hot day at Windsor today. We had a great day, won all our classes. Roxie was BOB, Eric was Best Dog. Inca won the Puppy bitch stakes. when we finished we took the dogs for a walk by the Thames and of course they all had a good swim, I got soaked when they came out.( mental note must stay away untill they have shook)

Welcome sunny Scotland, what a stunning area. We went up on Wednesday with the Caravan. we spent time in the town of Kelso, where the people are very friendly and seem to take time to live life at the speed they want too. What a difference when they are decended on by the dog fraternity. We went for a picnic by the River Tweed which was lovely and the dogs thought it was FAB. Could not get INCA out, she swam and swam. I was worried she would start quacking.The ever popular Disco was a success on the Saturday night wish I had been showing on the Saturday as I had a small headache Sunday morning. James took the top spot this week and went BOB under breed speciallist Barbara Ganerin. He then went on to win Group 4. We were all shattered after a very busy week and retired early for the long drive home on monday. Well Colin Luke and myself off to France for a long awaited holiday with my daughter her partner and my terrific grandaughter Megs. Poor sarah will stay at home with the dogs.

What a shame at the weekend, the best club show venue spoilt by rain. The commitee worked hard to make it as enjoyable as possible and the food was super as always. Trimere had a great day yet again. James took the res cc Roxy took the Bitch cc and BIS. Nina won Post grad, Baby Inca was second in Minor Puppy. Helen Cokalls Jesica, (James sister) won Limit. Wendy Walker won veteran with Sh Ch Trimere Total Devotion to Dexbanella, she looked great well done Wendy !! Lets hope the weather starts to pick up again, so we can enjoy the summer !!!
