Contest of Champions 3/4/2010
We went to the Contest of champions at heathrow yesterday. All dressed up and ready for a good evening. Roxy was invited as Top Springer last year. It was judged by 3 overseas judges on a match system. Sarah handled Roxie and we were over the moon when she won overall. What a superstar she is. We are very tired today I think I must be getting old, cant stay up dancing till 2am any more.

English Springer Spaniel Club of Scotland 27th march 2010
A long drive to Scotland on a cold day but it was alright for Helen and I as Pete drove lol. James was second in Open dog and got the Reserve Dog CC, Ronnie had a very good day and ended her puppy career by gaining Best Puppy in Show. The day got colder as it went on and the drive home seemed to take forever, only to lose an hours sleep as well, oh well summer will soon be here.

Crufts – 14th March
Mum and I organise the English Springer Spaniel Discover Dogs Booth so it’s handy that we live just a few miles away, as it’s been pretty busy this last week.
Thanks to everyone who helped out this year we really appreciate it. On Sunday it was Gundog day. James (Sh Ch Trimere Thriller) was placed 3rd in Open Dog with Eric (ShCh Trimere Talking Point at Allenie) taking first and going on to win the Dog CC for the second year running. Starting off the Bitches was Nina (Trimere Tantrums and Tiaras) who did really well in a large Yearling Bitch class being placed second. Finally it was Roxie and I in Open Bitch, we were really put through our paces in another large class.
Then we won the class and went on to take the Bitch CC ! It was great to see a Trimere’s winning both CCs, They both went really well and Eric took Best of Breed for the second year running, well done Eric and massive congratulations to Richard and Anthony. Meanwhile Pete (Sh Ch Trimere Trademark) came out of retirement for the International Junior Handling finals. Handled by Ola from Poland they took first prize.
Huge congratulations Ola and Pete on this massive achievement. What a fantastic end to a hectic week, time for a celebratory drink i think
Sarah xx
