Well happy new year to one and all its time to start writing again and keeping the web site updated.
was out judging today at Whitchurch. Pleased to see the Wss I put up in AVNSC went BIS. Had a lovely day seeing and chatting with friends

Off to Scotland in the dark, very cold and wintery. Arrived at the show, queing for the car park and disaster struck the clutch went on Helens car. We spent the day in the show and had a fab day. James won his 19th CC BOB and group 4, Nina won Limit and the res bitch CC. Inca won best puppy, what a great way to complete her puppy career. Helen won special yearling with Luke who looked very well.
We then had to think about getting home !!! the R.A.C. were very good and relayed us home, however we arrived home at 03.45 after leaving 24hrs before. Sooo tired still !!

Seems like a special day to me, wonder why??
Roxy took her 19th CC and BOB today, she ended up group 3 good way to finish the year for her, she is in for a little rest now maybe some puppies? Nina won limit again.
I had a great birthday, thanks for all the cards and happy birthdays wishes.

We had a great day at the club show today.
james won Best in Show, his 18th cc. His daughter Calvedale My Girl at Fallenleaf won Best puppy in show. Kizzy Sh Ch Trimere Total Devotion at Dexbenella won the res bitch CC from veteran, she looked lovely

What a great weekend !!!

James and Roxy had qualified for the eukanuba Ch stakes. Off to the Chesford Grange on Saturday for a fantastic day of indulgence. 2pm kicked off the judging and we were split into groups of 5. James and Roxy both headed there individual groups and were both placed in the final 10, what an acheivment !!! Nora the fantastic Chinese Crested won over all, well deserved.
Lunch was super and the atmosphere was great. Judging over and we went to the rooms to get ready for the evening celabrations.
Everyone had made an effort and there were some stunning outfits on show. We all had a super evening and retired about 4am. There were some tired people in the morning.
Well done eukanuba for supporting the dog show world.

Much better day today, weather was cold but not wet. Judge was Mr G Harron, he had already given James a CC so he had to stay at home, he was not impressed. All day on Tuesday he tried to get on the trimming table to be trimmed, he even tried to get in the bath !!!!!
Inca won puppy bitch which was great. Nina was second in good company in limit.
Roxy won her 17th cc and best of breed way to go Roxie, she moved like a dream.

Driffield today, wet wet and more wet.
Inca was Best Puppy in breed today which was great. Horrible day wish they would go inside this late in the year, people were being towed off.

WOW off on the ferry for a great weekend. Overnighter to Belfast great time was had by all, up at 05.15 yes 05.15 to disembark. off to the show, dogs were fantastic they travelled really well. We had a great day James won BOB and Group 2. Roxy won the res CC and the champ stakes on the day AGAIN. We had a celerbration and off to the Hotel. Lovely room great hospitality and a nother heavy night. Up at 7 back to the show Roxy was beaten by the Dalmation for overall ch stakes winner, so she was runner up for the 7th time this year. We had a buffet lunch with friends and a glass or two just to be social. BIS went Nora and it was back to the Ferry foer the overnighter back to England and guess what we had another wee drink on the way home after the meal. off to bed and guess what time we got up? yes you got it 05.15 and we drove home Now I am at work untill 10pm, I am wrecked !!!!!
I saw Ellen Murphy the late David Murphys(Lisnagarvy) wife how good it was to catch up I couldent believe its been 11 years since David died. she was there with her daughter and is looking well. She sends her best to all that would remember her.

Darlington today, three 1sts res CC and won the res CC stakes not a bad day Rushed home to Skype Megan my grandaughter who is 2 tomorrow, she lives in Holland so we dont see her as often as we would like.

Ricmond arrived and I was up really early to judge
the junior handlers in the gundog group. I gave 1st to a very capable young lady called Katelin Sheriff, handling an Irish Setter.
Roxy collected the bitch CC her 17th and to my surprise Nina gained another res cc, Inca won best puppy bitch which meant I had three in the line up for the cc and where was Sarah ? at work. What a great day I thought so off I go to the Champion stakes where James won the day. I have been in this situation 7 times this year and not winning through to the final. Its my lucky day and James won overall securing his place in the Final in October !!!!! What a great day and year for that matter.
